Full walkthrough for business owners and cashiers.
This is NYANSATEK POS. After you sign up, you'll get a business name and password by SMS and email — that's what you use to log in here. Once you're in, you land on the Cashier screen — this is where you'll spend most of your day. Up top you can see today's total sales, and along the navigation are the other sections: Admin Inventory, Cashiers, and SME Ledger.
To add a brand-new product, go to Admin Inventory, then the Create tab. Type in the product name, an optional barcode, your selling price, your cost price, and how many units you're starting with. Click Save Product and it's live immediately.
To change a price or fix a mistake later, use the Edit tab instead — search for the product, its details load automatically, and you save your changes from there. And for restocking, go to Add Stock, search the product, and type in how many units just arrived, with a short note like "Supplier delivery." Click Add to Stock and the quantity updates instantly — no need to recreate the product.
As the business owner, you can give staff their own login so they can use the till without seeing your reports or settings. Go to the Cashiers tab, enter their name, choose a staff username, and set a password. They sign in with that username instead of your business name. You can deactivate anyone who's left, right from the same list.
Search for a product and tap it to add it to the cart, confirming the quantity. Once the cart's ready, choose the payment method — Cash, Mobile Money, or Card. For cash, type in what the customer handed over and the change works out automatically. Then finish the sale: Complete just logs it, Print & Complete also prints a receipt, and Send SMS & Complete texts the receipt straight to the customer's phone.
Build the cart the same way as a normal sale, but choose Issue Credit Invoice instead of Complete. Enter the customer's name, phone number, and a due date for payment. It prints an invoice and logs the sale as outstanding, so you always know who owes you and how much.
Sales History shows every sale in a date range, split by Cash, Mobile Money, and Card. Profit Report goes further, showing your revenue, cost of goods, and actual gross profit for that period. Credit Sales shows everyone who still owes you from credit invoices — when they pay, record it under Credit Payments and their balance updates automatically. The same pattern runs for what you owe suppliers, under Supplier Invoices and Supplier Payments.
Full walkthrough for school owners and administrators.
This is NYANSATEK School. As the admin, once you log in you land straight on your Admin panel. Across the top are all your tools — Members, Fee Terms, Classes, Gradebook, Report Cards, Teachers, and more. The Gate tab is separate — that's for whoever's on duty scanning students in and out, so you can hand that off to a gatekeeper without giving them access to everything else.
Go to Members, and you'll see the registration form and your full list of students. To add someone, type their full name, class or department, and gender, then a guardian's name and phone number — the number that gets notified whenever the student enters or exits the gate. Save it, and the student gets an ID number automatically.
Under Fee Terms, give the term a name like "Term 1, 2026," set an amount, and choose the start and end dates. You can set one amount for every class, or different amounts per class. Once that's in place, go to Fee Payments whenever a parent actually pays — search the student, select the term, and enter what they paid. Their balance updates automatically.
Academic Terms covers your school calendar, separate from fee terms — name, year, and dates. Then in Gradebook, pick the term, class, and subject, and every enrolled student shows up automatically — enter class and exam scores, and the final grade calculates live. Once every subject's in, Report Cards ranks every student and builds a full printable report card for each one.
Go to the Teachers tab, enter a teacher's name and email — that email is what they log in with — and click Create Teacher. A temporary password appears once, so send it to them right away. They'll set their own password on first login.
Class Performance Ranking shows every student ordered by total marks. Roster gives a clean alphabetical class list, handy for printing. And Fee Defaulters shows everyone with an outstanding balance for a given term, along with their guardian's phone number — you can send an SMS reminder or download the list as a PDF straight from that screen.
For teaching staff.
As a teacher, you log in with the email and password the admin gave you. You'll land on My Scores — this only shows the classes and subjects you're actually assigned to.
Pick the term, your class, and the subject, and you'll see your student list. Type in class scores and exam scores as you go — the final grade calculates automatically. Don't forget to Save All Scores when you're done.
For parents and guardians.
As a parent, you'll get a login by email from the school. Once you're in, if you have more than one child at the school, pick which one you're viewing at the top.
The Overview tab gives you the quick picture — their class, fee balance, and days present. Results shows their grades for any term. Fees shows exactly what's owed and your full payment history. And Attendance shows every day they were logged in or out at the gate.
